Elk was the best "Momma's boy"! He loved his Mom! He loved his life! And, I really think he loved Massage!
I was blessed to work with Elk for two years, before I moved to Georgia. It was amazing to see the transformation in Elk after a period of regular Massage Therapy treatments; especially because Elk had Cushings. Combined with the best Veterinary care, and TLC from his Mom, Massage Therapy provided immune system support and muscular conditioning to bring a balance to Elk's health challenges.
Elk looked great and developed quite the demanding attitude to always let me know his desire to graze and wander during every massage. He never lost his spunk, and lived to be 30 years old! I will greatly miss the sound of Elk knickering when I would show up to take him out for his treatment! He brought many bright days to my life! I know he is somewhere kicking his heels up, and grazing, in the greenest pastures.
amazing little rescue
Bindi is a 1-yr-old hound mix, who was rescued just in time. rescued from neglect, and euthanization. She was so sick and lethargic, she had to be tested for parvo. Fortunately, she was negative. she recovered from dehydration and malnourishment, and is now a thriving handful!
Maggie was one happy customer following her Massage Therapy treatments, just before she delivered this little guy(her first foal)!
On the first of three treatments in her last two weeks of gestation, I noted that Maggie looked very pregnant and uncomfortable in her state of pre-labor. Her walk was slow and appeared somewhat labored. Following the first massage, I was delighted to watch Maggie trot to the water trough for a drink. The relief was visibly evident!
